Advice:
The length of the sticks is adjusted in the plains. The angle of the arm must be 90°.
Uphill they must be adjusted from 5 to 10 cm shorter, depending on the slope.
Downhill they must be adjusted from 5 to 10 cm longer, depending on the slope.
